Collectors use Art Vault for free. Create one account and that becomes your permanent Art Vault identity for buying, collecting and protecting artwork or photography.
Once you’re signed in, My Vault, Browse and Scan are all available from the same account. You don’t need a second account if you decide to become an artist later.

Browse the gallery, search by artwork, photography, artist or subject, and filter what you want to see.
Open a listing to view the work, creator, price and the information attached to its permanent digital identity. When you find something you want, buy it through Art Vault.

Tap Sell Art & Photos and upload a good image of the work from your phone.
Add the title, description, category, tags and price. Those details help collectors understand the work and help it appear in relevant searches. Publish it and the listing becomes available in the Art Vault gallery.

CONNECT STRIPE & SELL
Connect your Stripe account for marketplace payments. When a collector buys your work, checkout is handled securely and the payment is processed to your connected account.
Art Vault takes 0% commission from the sale. Stripe’s normal payment-processing fees still apply.

When you upload your prized artwork to Art Vault, you can choose to display a watermarked version wherever your work is shown publicly — helping protect the full-quality original while collectors can still discover and enjoy it.

WATERMARK THE DISPLAY VERSION
Choose to protect the versions displayed through Art Vault with a watermark. Your high-resolution artwork file doesn’t have to be exposed simply because the work is listed for sale.

EMBED A SCANNABLE QR CODE
You can also embed a fully scannable QR code into the full-resolution file supplied to the buyer. That QR identity connects the downloaded artwork back to its Art Vault record for authentication and verification.
AND THE BUYER GETS THE FULL-RESOLUTION ARTWORK.
After purchase, the buyer can download the full-resolution image — not the public watermarked display version. Where the creator has enabled it, that purchased file can carry the embedded, fully scannable Art Vault QR code.

PERMANENT DIGITAL IDENTITY
THE WORK ENTERS YOUR VAULT
The collector can keep owned artwork and photography in My Vault. The record shows the work’s identifying information, verification status, current owner, registration date and unique Vault ID.
The same record provides access to the certificate and the live Art Vault record, keeping the important information together instead of scattered across receipts, emails and paperwork.

A HISTORY THAT CAN CONTINUE
PROVENANCE & OWNERSHIP
Art Vault records key events around the work so its history can grow over time. Registration and purchases become part of its provenance.
If the work changes hands later, ownership can be transferred to the new collector. The new owner gets the work in their Vault while the earlier history remains part of the provenance trail.
